I'm writing in here
because I don't know what to do with myself! It's 5:40-something here in Wisconsin and I can't sleep a darned wink.

Anyways, I think I should write about my art teacher
because he is quite the wonderfully amazing man, you see.
MR. THOMAS SMITH
was a Chinese Navajo in another life. (He attests to that fact quite often.) He enjoys lighting his students on fire, throwing things on the ground, and making a ruckus. He drinks coffee like it is a life source and he hoards chocolate.
This man
is the reason why I continue to pursue art in the more physical aspect of it... and he's also the reason why I don't have any actual artwork UP HERE. Can't find me a damned scanner to use, y'see?
But he always manages
to inspire me on this crazy level of thought. It's difficult to describe if you haven't really had the chance to be a student of his. But all I know is that since I've been in his class, work just flows from me like water.
I never knew it could be that easy.
